Why should Flanders be a key partner in your next production? This question is at the heart of a series of video testimonials created by Screen Flanders to promote the Region's audiovisual assets. The testimonials feature frequent Screen Flanders applicants such as Bart Van Langendonck of Savage Film, who co-produces international projects on a regular basis with the fund’s support.
I think the uniqueness of Flanders as a co-production partner is that we can bring together different sources of financing: Tax Shelter, economic funds and possibly TV sales or distribution advances.
Watch Bart Van Langendonck's full testimonial below and discover what Flanders and Savage Film can offer your next production.
Savage Film was established in 2006, and in 2014 formed an alliance with Eyeworks Film & TV Drama and the Warner Bros International Television Production group. The company is well known for productions from established Flemish directors such as Michaël R. Roskam (Bullhead, Racer and the Jailbird), Robin Pront (The Ardennes) and Tim Mielants (Patrick).
As a co-production partner Savage Film is active in both national and international co-productions. The company was a key partner in productions such as Mother's Instinct, Above the Law, Dark Inclusion and the Italian-Chinese-Belgian co-production Coffee.
The Flanders Region boasts highly skilled talent both in front and behind the camera, authentic film locations, state-of-the-art studio complexes and post-production services.
