What distinguishes Flanders from other co-production regions around the world? We put this question to some of our more frequent Screen Flanders applicants, such as Peter Bouckaert of Eyeworks Film & TV Drama.

I think Flanders has a lot to offer for international co-productions. We have highly skilled crew and cast, and a lot of our people are sought after internationally because of their skills and their talent. And we have all of that in a very small region.

Discover below what sets Flanders apart from other regions and which qualities mark Eyeworks Film & TV Drama as a co-production partner.

Eyeworks isn’t the new kid on the block, but has been active in the field for 40 years, since 2014 as part of the Warner Bros International Television Production group. The company only produces feature films and high-end drama series.
Recent productions include the drama series The Twelve and Red Light, both awarded prizes at the CanneSeries festival. Other productions include the internationally sold feature The Treatment and Belgian-Dutch co-production Floodland. As a co-producer Eyeworks aims to bring added value to the table, not just financing.
