Following the federal decision to switch to epidemiological code yellow, it was decided in consultation between the employers' and employees' representatives within PC227 and PC303.1 to cancel the Covid Sector Guide (PC227) and the Film Protocol (303.1) with immediate effect. These guides are therefore no longer in force. Consequently, compliance with these guides in Code Yellow is also no longer a condition for calling upon the Guarantee Fund.

We would, however, like to draw your attention to the fact that although no sector-specific covid measures apply anymore, a new version of the Generic Guide was published in early March (only available in Dutch and French):

Nieuwe generieke gids ‘Veilig werken tijdens een epidemie of een pandemie’ - Federale Overheidsdienst Werkgelegenheid, Arbeid en Sociaal Overleg (belgie.be)
Nouveau guide générique 'Travailler en toute sécurité pendant une épidémie ou une pandémie

An employer who has taken the measures proposed in this Generic Guide is deemed to have fulfilled his obligation to take special prevention measures in the event of an epidemic or pandemic. An employer may also take alternative preventive measures than those listed in this Guide. In that case, he must demonstrate that they offer at least an equivalent level of protection against the transmission of covid(or another virus/bacteria).

Should the federal government decide that the epidemiological situation requires a switch to code orange or code red of the Corona barometer, compliance with the Sector Guide and the Film Protocol will again be imposed as a condition for calling upon the Guarantee Fund.
